Midwest Geometry Conference
May 18 - 20, 2007
to be held in honor of
Thomas P. Branson (1953 -- 2006)

The 2007 Midwest Geometry Conference will include plenary talks as well as special sessions consisting of eight or nine talks given in parallel. These talks are grouped as much as possible according to the major themes of the conference.

All talks will take place in Van Allen Hall on the University of Iowa Campus.

Conference participants should register Thursday, May 17^th between 6:00-9:00 PM at Van Allen Hall; an informal evening reception will be held concurrently at the same location.

Registration fee is $100, which includes the banquet on Saturday evening. University accounts can’t be used for food, and such. Instead, we cover your hotel stay, reception, refreshments, and as much travel as our budget allows.

Students are not charged the registration fee. However, there is then a student fee of $25 to participate in the banquet.

The conference activities will also include --

• a conference banquet at the Iowa River Power Restaurant in the evening on Saturday, May 19
• a goodbye dinner at Aeoshe Restaurant (Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cuisine) on Sunday, May 20. This event is not sponsored by the conference.

A special panel discussion and forum on open problems will follow the Saturday evening banquet at the same location as the banquet. The conference organizers will assist with transportation to the restaurant.
