Application Deadline

We will begin reviewing applications on March 7, 2007. Applications received after 7th will be considered if there are spaces available.

Application Requirements

A completed application consists of the following four items:

  1. A completed STUDENT APPLICATION FORM
  2. An unofficial copy of your TRANSCRIPT
  3. STATEMENT OF INTEREST

    4. On a separate sheet of paper, briefly tell us about your interest in mathematics and why you would like to participate in this REU. Please limit your statement to one page.

  4. FACULTY LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

    5. Please have one professor send a letter of recommendation directly to Dr. Simon.

    *Note: NSF regulations require participants to be US citizens or permanent residents.
