GENERAL INFORMATION
The National Alliance for Doctorial Studies in the Mathematical Sciences will host an NSF sponsored summer REU in 2008 from June 9th to August 1st. The math sciences departments at the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa, and Iowa State University will each host a research program for undergraduate students at their institution. Students will be introduced to graduate life at a large university and will participate in seminars and cultural activities shared with other programs on campus. At the end of the program, students will present their research at a large symposium that will bring together all of the students from each school.
