The University of IowaStudio Classroom

The Studio Classroom, located in B5 MacLean Hall, provides an up-to-date learning experience for undergraduates in mathematics. In the Studio, students can use powerful graphic-oriented computational software on UNIX workstations to explore mathematical concepts.

Undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Mathematics should automatically receive a Studio account upon enrolling in the program. Department faculty can also request accounts for students enrolled in courses they teach. The laboratory is also open to students and faculty in the departments of Computer Science and Statistics and Actuarial Science. More information about Studio accounts, and about other aspects of the Studio, is available in the document Getting Started in the Division of Mathematical Sciences.
