Title: Real toric varieties and equivariant cohomology
Speakers: Paulo Lima-Filho (Texas A & M)
Abstract: In this talk we describe work in progress on the classification and the equivariant cohomology of real toric structures (RTS). We will start with basic examples introducing RTS, and then we will discuss a bigraded form of Borel equivariant cohomology (and some suitable variations). The talk will end with concrete computations of some equivariant cohomology rings for RTS.
There will be an informal (free) seminar dinner after the talk. All are welcome.
