Second Year Seminar

4:30-5:20 pm on Wednesdays
210 MacLean Hall

The seminar meets from 3:30-4:20pm on Wednesdays, roughly every other week. We talk about all sorts of topics of concern to second year grad students (as well as others), from how to read or write math to how to prepare for comps or pick an advisor, and anything in between.

It is coorganized by Julianna Tymoczko (tymoczko atsign math dot uiowa dot edu), Heather Russell (hrussell atsign math dot uiowa dot edu), and Shannon Talbott (talbott atsign math dot uiowa dot edu). Let any of us know if there's a topic you'd like to hear about.
