Teaching at other schools

(Syllabi are available upon request.)

At the University of Michigan, I taught

  • Math 312 (an introduction to modern algebra with applications),
  • Math 217 (linear algebra for math majors),
  • Math 115 (Calculus I), and
  • Math 425 (probability). I also led
  • a Schubert calculus working group with Dave Anderson.

In the summer of 2003, I led

  • an introductory algebraic geometry course
at the University of Maryland at College Park.

At Princeton, I taught

  • Math 104 (Calculus II) and
  • Math 200 (a one-semester course on linear algebra and multivariable calculus for economists).

For the summers of 1997 and 1999, I was a counselor at PROMYS, a fantastic math summer program for high school folks run at Boston University.
