William G. Hager
I'm a mathematics graduate student in my sixth and final year at the University of Iowa.   I'm currently working with Dr. Jonathan Simon.  I primarily study physical knots and arrangements of surfaces.  To date, most of my work concerns polygonal knots and minimum distance energy.   This web page is a result of my participation in the VIGRE program.
