    Superbridge index of knots

    In 1987, Nicolaas Kuiper introduced superbridge index of knots. It is larger than the bridge index for nontrivial knots and harder to compute. We discuss on various upper bounds of superbridge index by other invariants. We also discuss how superbridge index behaves under connected sum of knots.
