Academic Programs

The conference will focus on analytic number theory and group representation theory. In addition to the invited lectures there will be contributed talks. Talks will be on August 3 through August 7. Details will be announced later.

If you are planning to attend this Conference, please email the organizers. There is no registration fee. Please tell us if you are interested in giving a contributed talk.

Travel

To attend the conference, please plan to arrive on August 2.
Domestic participants may fly to either Weihai (Airport Code: WEH) or Yantai (YNT), or take a train to Weihai.

From abroad, one may fly to Beijing (PEK) and then take a domestic flight from PEK to either Weihai (WEH) or Yantai (YNT).
On August 2, there are following flights from PEK:
CA1827 departure PEK at 07:25 arrival WEH at 08:35
CA1585 departure PEK at 07:35 arrival YNT at 08:45
CA1545 departure PEK at 12:25 arrival YNT at 13:35
MU5136 departure PEK at 15:30 arrival YNT at 16:40
CA1587 departure PEK at 18:20 arrival WEH at 19:30
CA1829 departure PEK at 20:40 arrival YNT at 21:50
Note that MU5136 will depart from Terminal 2 of PEK. Plan 1/2 hour to get to Terminal 2 from the international arrival Terminal 3.

Or, one may fly to Shanghai Pudong (PVG) and take the following flights:
FM9258 departure PVG at 08:20 arrival WEH at 09:50
MU2288 departure SHA at 16:50 arrival WEH at 18:40
Note that SHA is Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. It will take 2 hours to get to SHA from the international arrival airport PVG.

Please inform the organizers your flight arrival date and time. The Conference will send someone to meet you at the airport or train station. Driving from either airport or the train station will take about one hour.

For invited speakers, your domestic flight to WEH or YNT will be booked and paid by the conference. Please tell the organizers your international flight arrival information. The domestic flight will have an e-ticket, so that you can obtain your boarding pass at PEK using your passport. You may plan your international flight so that you don't have to stay in Beijing overnight.

Please book the lowest economy round-trip airfare for your international flight. Please contact the organizers if you have questions.

For invited speakers: Lodging will be provided and has been reserved at Shandong University Weihai International Academic Center, a 4-star hotel. Please let the organizers know your planned arrival and departure dates. Please do NOT take the US-China Air Travel and Hotel packages, because your hotel in Weihai has already been reserved and will be paid by the Conference. Please book your international flights through JC Travel & Cruise if you travel from the USA.

For other participants: Please contact the organizers for lodging options or get a US-China Air Travel and Hotel package designed by China Advocates.

Visa

If you are not a Chinese citizen, you will need an entry visa to China. Please email the organizers to get a formal invitation letter.
